Pore-mouth catalysis boosting the formation of iso-paraffins from syngas over bifunctional catalysts

چکیده
Recent studies confirm that the emerging bifunctional catalysts consisting of metal oxide and zeolites can directly convert syngas into high-quality gasoline, however, formation mechanism iso-paraffins difference with conventional FT/zeolite catalyst have not been investigated. Herein, three one-dimensional SAPO diverse micropore sizes were synthesized assembled ZnAlOx spinel structure. It was found ZnAlOx/SAPO-41 ZnAlOx/SAPO-11 medium favored C5–C11 hydrocarbons a high content iso-paraffins. The characterizations pointed out over SAPO-11 followed pore-mouth catalysis mechanism, which means isomerization linear only take place near pore mouth region zeolites. This allows mono-branched in range, are less prone to be cracked than their di-branched isomers. A careful comparative analysis between Co/H-meso-ZSM-5 also made terms product distribution, activity, stability.

Bifunctional catalysis
Bifunctional catalysis concerns the use of low molecular weight, structurally defined molecules possessing two distinct functional groups to bring about new reactivity and/or selectivity in a reaction of interest. The reactions are typically polar addition reactions of pronucleophiles and electrophiles where, ideally, simple low-cost starting materials are converted into high-value, stereochemi...

15 صفحه اولH2 Production from Partial Oxidation of iso-Octane over Ni/Ce0.75Zr0.25O2 and Ni/β- Al2O3 Catalysts
In this study, the partial oxidation of iso-octane over Ni/Ce0.75Zr0.25O2 and Ni/βAl2O3 catalysts was investigated. The results indicated that Ni/Ce0.75Zr0.25O2 is more active than Ni/β-Al2O3. The partial oxidation products are mainly H2 and CO for Ni/Ce0.75Zr0.25O2 with hydrogen selectivity up to 85%. The H2/CO ratio is in the range of 1.3-2.0 depending on the operating temperature. It was n...
